Anyway, the cruise I’m reporting on here was my second on the Bliss to Alaska, but was significant in that it was the very first Alaska cruise across all lines and ships of the 2024 season. It was also my first time cruising solo on the Bliss (last time I had my son with me). I’ll be providing a detailed trip report from each day as well as highlighting some features I loved about the Bliss (and a few I didn’t) and some tips for those booked on or considering her.
Norwegian Bliss Alaska 2024: Daily Trip Report
This ship was designed for Alaskan cruises, with great observation points. It was built in 2018 and has many of the mega- ship amenities and activities that many cruisers love. It is also a good option for those who want to splurge on a Haven suite, which is not offered on some of the other ships sailing to Alaska. The cruise line continues to offer a number of promotions, and currently, there are options to sail for as little as $530 per person in the month of October, which is shoulder season, one of the best times of the year to get deals. There are three different itineraries that have ports of call in Sitka, Juneau, Icy Strait Point, Skagway, Ketchikan, Alaska, and Victoria, British Columbia, as well as scenic cruising of Endicott Arm Fjord and Dawes Glacier. Once again, Norwegian Bliss will be sailing out of Seattle on 7 day itineraries from April through to September.
